Friends from another time

Charlie was twelve when he found an old shabby mirror in his basement. He had ever seen it because his parents didn’t allow him to go there but he didn’t do what his parents told him.
When he stood in front of the window he didn’t see himself, there was another person copying what he was doing. Charlie was shocked. Then the person came out of the mirror and introduced himself as John and quickly went to an old huge wardrobe and started looking and moving the coats. Suddenly a girl came out and told Charlie she was Amanda, John’s best friend. Charlie asked why they were there and they told him that by the mirror and the wardrobe someone could travel in time. They were from 1961. Charlie, Amanda and John started talking and playing. By the evening they were very good friends.
When Charlie heard his parents entering in the house, they arranged to meet the next day.
That night, while Charlie and his family were having dinner, his father told them they were moving to Australia. Charlie didn’t want and this impressed his parents because he didn’t like the town they lived in. Although he insisted very much in staying, the decision was made.
Two weeks later, one day before he moved, Charlie gave Amanda and John the bad news: They weren’t going to see each other again. They were all sad because they had been very good friends those two weeks. When Charlie’s parents arrived home he said goodbye forever. That was the last time he ever saw them.

  1. Great job!! Just correct:"He had never seen ... wasn't doing...had told him." "...the mirror he..." "...looking at and..." "...didn’t want to...this surprised..."
